The best time to go fishing
for squids in
Vladivostok-Russia is from Sept and Oct.
 Landed more than 100 squids from 7pm to
10pm and all were caught at a depth of not more than 15 ft below
water surface.- Most of the squid were caught at a dept when
we were still able to see the lights from the glow sticks or from our
electronic squid jig. (available in Dec 2009)
From experience rigs with moving or flashing lights -either fitted
with crack light or electronic produce the best results. Squid
lures colour are not that important. Squids are attracted to lights
that are red/ chartreuse in color.
